there are lots of other internet monkeys - here are a few we like:

Daisy Marie - No matter what happens, Daisy Marie was the very first sock monkey outside of the Red Heel to post on the Message Board. This makes her awesome beyond belief. Her website has a tour of the University of Missouri in Columbia and one can only hope she gets paid for her efforts, as this can only draw students of both sock and people type to its hallowed (helloed?)(hollow?) halls! Frequently updated and extremely well photographed.

Lucius M. Monkey - Lucius is everything a sock monkey could hope to be -- literate, well travelled, excellently ensconced in his family and in tradition. One of the most literate, cultured, and delightful sock monkeys on the web. His many tales are worth reading and his many family members are worth meeting. Lucius also frequently posts on the Red Heel Message Board, as does the irrespressible exuberant Iggy. Tops.

Fluff TV - Fluff TV is online home to some great sock monkeys, several of whom post on the Red Heel Message Board. Home of Ophelia the depressed sock monkey, Arch Demon Fred the evil sock demon, Foofie the sock kittie, and a number of other wonderful creatures, many of whom YOU can adopt (or take as "sock slaves") yourself!

I See Sock Monkeys - More eccentric, non traditional sock monkeys available for potential purchase and on line visual delight. Devils and kitties and drunk monkeys and such.

Tim - Self styled celebrity monkey Tim is the proud owner of perhaps the most elaborate sock monkey site on the net! Tim was on-line before anyone, and will never let you forget it! Amazing film clips and sound files of Tim singing. Maybe one day he and Mrs. Tiffany will do a duet!

Queen Manhandle - Fiesty, drunken, crazy, with worse English than anyone but Captain Heelhead, Queen Manhandle and her clone babies add much madness to the life of the internet sock monkey. Her merch is especially outrageous.

Bob - Bob is another well heeled sock monkey who does not let his fondness for poetry overcome his basic needs for dryer lint. Also featuring "Punky", Nellie Bellie's on-line sister.

Nate - Nate is a famous world traveller - his "hub" is one of the longest running on-line sites.

Tony Millionaire's Sock Monkey Comics have been entertaining and distressing citizens of the Red Heel ever since their initial publication. We wish Uncle Gabby the best, although with Uncle Gabby and Uncle Tony we expect the worst. Hi Drinky Crow!

Origin of the species - Fascinating and controversial speculation as to where we came from. Also: we give credit to the sock monkeys on this website for saving us all from the Y2K virus! Thanks, guys!
